What is the Shoe Upper exactly?
The Shoe Upper is the whole part of the shoe that covers the foot. It consists of all parts or sections of the shoe that are above the sole. They are attached by stitches, or rather molded into one unit, where the insole and outsole are attached. The upper of the shoe is made up of the upper (or the front of the shoe), the quarters (i.e. the sides and back of the shoe), and the lining.

Elastopan® systems provide a virtually unlimited freedom in terms of design, color and texture, simple handling and processing paired with excellent physical properties like flexibility, abrasion and hydrolysis resistance, durability and low density. Elastopan® systems are available as polyester and polyether based systems.
Process: Cold Curing , compatible with casting and injection machines. Benefits: Energy Saving , Enhanced Appearance, Production Efficency, Waste Reduction, lightweight, breathable. Special features: Bio content enabled, PU/EVA hybrid foam enabled.
Outsole
Elastollan® is Tough yet Comfortable
Shoes made with Elastollan® outsole help one stay productive and protected – the outsoles deliver comfort, durability, and stability with a firm body construction. With the freedom and flexibility n design, the 6500 Series respirator is built tough enough to withstand long hours and extreme conditions yet be comfortable to wear. Soft grades are used for cushioning elements, medium hardness grades are suitable for compact or combination soles and hard grades are the best solution for heels and heel tips.
Process: Injection molding. Benefits: Excellent properties, such as mechanical strength, resistance to abrasion, and slip resistance, together with a broad range of possible degrees of hardness. Special features: Bio content enabled.
